Lore

Kiri's family is an incredibly powerful organization in a cyberpunk-adjacent world. Shortly after Kiri was born, she was stolen from her family by a group of rebels, and she grew up in the group's care. While with them, she showed an interest in plants, and was taught compassion for others.

When Kiri was around 5 years old, her family managed to track down the rebel group. Kiri had to watch as her parents killed all the people she knew, and burned the garden she had grown up with, before being taken back to her family's penthouse.

Once under her parent's control, Kiri was trained rigorously to be the most efficient fighter and tactician possible. Her parents - especially her mother - were incredibly hard on her, and she was taught that all emotions only clouded ones judgement. Her father noticed her interest in plants and helped her cultivate a small garden of flowers, despite her mother's complaints. Her father was still strict, but gave Kiri room to do things she wanted to do.

When Kiri was around 15, her father died during a mission to deal with a group of rebels. Her mother gave her no room to grieve, insistant that emotion is simply a hindrance, and she had Kiri's small garden she had cultivated with her father removed. Without her father, her training became even more strict and intense, her mother pushing her as hard as she could.

As is, Kiri is an incredibly masterful fighter with machine-like precision and skill.
